Join Whidbey Island Fly Fishing Club for Informal Lone Lake Fishing/Casting Practice Event Wednesday
With good weather forecast, at least a couple of us from the Whidbey Island Fly Fishing Club (WIFFC) will be at Lone Lake on Wednesday, March 31 for an informal fishing and casting practice event. It's just an ad hoc get-together under appropriate COVID rules to look each other in the eye face-to-face--something that hasn't happened much over the winter. We heartily extend an invitation to any and all Fidalgo Fly Fishers.
Clarence Hein and I will do a little fishing starting sometime mid-morning. Others from our two clubs are encouraged to join us. Then we'll come ashore to brush up on our casting at 2 PM. The large lawn area at the Lone Lake County Park provides lots of room to spread out.
I know it's a long way for most of you to travel, but we'd love to see you.
