FFF Yakima Trip
We are looking forward to the Yakima trip next week (October 9-12). If you have not received an email, but are interested in the details, please reach out.
October is a great time to see the Yakima - no boat needed, though we probably will have a drift boat or two. Wade or use a personal watercraft for access. October Caddis could start hatching any time.
Camping is first come first served at Big Pines with no hookups. Many will be arriving Thursday night (the 8th) and staying through Monday.

Wednesday Oct 7th gear fished the Skagit with longtime friend 92 year old Bill Knutzen. While waiting at the edgewater Mt Vernon put in talked to Tony Wolden MV Baseball coach. Tony said the tribes have not been fishing as projected 2 days a week (sat & Sun) but were given by WFW continuous netting from late Sept after being held out in early Sept to preserve the king run. The tribal netting ends Sunday Oct 11th. Starting Monday the 12th we should see this 200k silver run available to fly fishing. I will be fishing the riverbend north sand bar..
