Sea Run Cutthroat on the Kitsap Peninsula - Belfair State Park - April 8-11
If you have any interest in chasing Sea Run Cutthroat Trout, please join us on the Kitsap Peninsula. We will be circling wagons at Belfair State Park. Several of us have made reservations the Main Loop. There are still proximal camping sites to us and one cabin in the Main Loop. On the opposite side of the Main Loop there are sites and additional cabins available but still very close to all. Go to WA Reservations: https://washington.goingtocamp.com/
You may have heard that the catching is slow on this trip, but you have likely also heard that the food is fabulous! Looks like it will be open for oysters and other shellfish that we might add to the menu. We are already on the beach, might just as well bring some buckets.
There are multiple beach options to fish including Olalla, Penrose, Joemma, Kopachuck and maybe we could learn of a few from our March speaker who is likely the most knowledgeable SRC person in the Northwest.
