Fly fishing for silver salmon on the Skagit River
Looking for fly fishing partners for silver salmon starting August 16th on the Skagit.
Will fish same sand bar I have for 40 years.
i cut overgrown willows today and yesterday to create useable trail.

Wednesday Oct 7th gear fished the Skagit with longtime friend 92 year old Bill Knutzen. While waiting at the edgewater Mt Vernon put in talked to Tony Wolden MV Baseball coach. Tony said the tribes have not been fishing as projected 2 days a week (sat & Sun) but were given by WFW continuous netting from late Sept after being held out in early Sept to preserve the king run. The tribal netting ends Sunday Oct 11th. Starting Monday the 12th we should see this 200k silver run available to fly fishing. I will be fishing the riverbend north sand bar..
