Care and maintenance of Bamboo Fly Rods
Many of you know that I have gotten into Bamboo. I did some research on their care and maintenance and thought I would share my findings. I posted it on the Education and Info page of our website. It is a compilation of several different guides. If you have done any research into bamboo, you know that many are passionate about their particular theories and beliefs and I have tried to compile the most common understandings.

One additional note for care of bamboo fly rods. If there are ties on the top or side of a rod bag, do not use them. This can inadvertently bend rod sections inside the bag and put a "set" in those sections. Leave the ties loose, or cut them off of the rod bag.
