Proposed ByLaw Revisions
The Bylaws Committee and The Board have concluded their review of our current Bylaws and have made suggestions. They are detailed in the attached documents. One is a version that shows the detailed changes (Strikeouts - language to remove. Highlights - language to add.) in the document with comments on the side explaining the proposed changes. The other one is a version with the changes made and a list of the changes in Section XII Summary of Bylaw Revisions (basically would be a final revised version that would replace our current bylaws). All of the changes are an effort for our club to be more inclusive, to remove any deterrents to becoming a member, to enhance increased participation in club meetings, to simplify club management, and clarify and make bylaw language more consistent. Please take a look at these and post your comments, for or against. Our next step is to discuss and have a membership vote to approve these suggestions during our next meeting.
