Orvis Battenkill Fly Reel For Sale - From the Estate of Don Mckeehen.

This is an Orvis Battenkill 3/4 fly reel, and weights approximately 4 1/2 oz. I think this reel would be a good match for a 3 or 4 weight fly rod. Asking $140, contact Robin at flyfishsearun@yahoo.com

When I look over what Robin is showing, I wish this sort of thing was available when I was buying rods and reels. Robin has a good sense for value in the way he makes the descriptions☺️.

Raft advice?

Curious if anyone could share an opinion or advice on what to look for in a 1-person cataraft or similar floatie. Something suitable for local lakes and easy rivers (like the St Joe). Light enough for easy loading and pulling through shallows, but up to the weight of a larger angler.

Thanks

I have two Buck's Bags pontoon boats that I've had for years and they still look like new. The frame on a Buck's is made of stainless steel, so it's a little heavier, but stands up to any abuse you dish out. They are very agile in the water, and faster in the dead water than some other designs.
